La Tomatina - Tomato fight in Spain

The fruity festival of La Tomatina has become world famous. In 2002, 38,000 people spent one hour at this giant food fight throwing about 120 tonnes of tomatoes at each other. From the backs of lorries, attendants dump the red fruit on to the streets for people to scoop up and throw. No wonder why Africa is starving!
